PRODUCTION MANAGER
(3D ANIMATED FEATURE FILM)
03/2022 - 2023
Flying Bark Productions
As Production Manager for a 3D animated feature film, I manage all departments along the Animation Pipeline, each comprising of teams of local, interstate and international creative, technical and production crew working across multiple time-zones. The work of each department is highly complex and although most are meant to operate in succession, often due to various factors, they end up running parallel creating the need for daily task reprioritisation and interdepartmental and external stakeholder negotiation. I oversee the juggling of these competing tasks and all work on the floor with the support and in supporting the Director and an evolving team of Creative Supervisors, Production Coordinators and Productions Assistants in order to ensure efficient and excellent creative output from our artists and international/interstate vendors (Perth, Canary Islands). Currently the active departments/teams are Story, Editorial, Design, Previs/Proxy Modelling, Modelling, Surfacing, Rigging, Groom, Layout and Pipeline Development. This will continue on to include: Animation, FX/CFX, Lighting, Compositing, and Post Production.

SENIOR POST PRODUCER / MUSIC SUPERVISOR / HEAD OF VOICE CASTING
(SOUND DESIGN / MUSIC / VOICE)
05/2017 - 07/2020
Rumble Studios
As part of Rumble, I was thrilled to be at the forefront of an award-winning creative team, its culture, and offering. Here I combined my creative passions, team management, relationship management and production strengths across varied advertising and entertainment productions.
As Senior Producer, I managed an talented team of up to 10 sound designers, composers, freelancers and production staff, overseeing operations and creative direction. I worked closely with film and animation directors, creative agencies, production teams and brands to craft mixtures of music and sound. To strengthen Rumble’s offering, I drove the expansion of our talent resources from national to international by forging relationships with off-shore talent agents, record labels, music publishers, and creatives. This created opportunities for our clients to work with an exciting selection of actors, vocalists, session musicians, music producers, music libraries and associated recording facilities. I also streamlined and improved administrative, production and client service processes, and facilitated the promotions of two female staff members through on-going mentoring, provision of creative/production opportunities, and demonstrative dialogue with Management.
As a music supervisor, I sourced and licensed music from around the world through dedicated research and strong relationships with music labels, publishers, film composers and artists. In 2019, I was instrumental in the launch and development of Youngtribe – a music sync platform for an evolving roster of exciting, young emerging independent Australian artists alumni including industry successes B-Wise, San Mei, and Cub Sport, and co-produced its associated podcast, SOUNDWISE. I also drove creative partnerships such as collaboration between Indian-Australian hip hop artist, L Fresh the Lion, and the Sydney Kings Men’s Basketball Team, resulting in an ambassadorship, new theme song and live performances that were broadcast and covered across local and major Australian TV, radio and newspapers, at live events, on streaming platforms. This included a special performance on MTV India.
I was not only key to the expansion of the Rumble by facilitating excellence and diversity in the creative output of the staff across both music and sound craft, but also drove new business with the executive team, and developed strategic partnerships and programs with top creative organisations and teams such as the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), Screenwise, and Audiocraft.
During my time at Rumble, we were awarded the title of Global Sound Company of the Year and Regional Sound Company of the Year, APAC at the London International Awards. I was also proud to represent Rumble on stage at the esteemed Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity in Singapore to accept a Silver Spike alongside collaborators from BWM Dentsu and Photoplay for our contribution to the multi-awarding winning campaign and goodwill initiative for the ALS Association, Project Revoice.

MUSIC DIRECTOR
(ENTERTAINMENT / CONTENT)
1/2021 to 07/2021
Eastside Radio 89.7FM
Here I was responsible for driving and overseeing the creative direction of the radio station in partnership with the Station Manager, curating and maintaining the station's library of specialist music spanning Jazz, Blues & Roots, World, Alt-Country & Folk, Electronic and their derivatives.
I managed the Music Team - a team of 5 genre specialists - and as the key contact for external stakeholders, developed and strengthened relationships with local and international record labels, music publishers and artists to be able to source the best music most suited to the station’s focus, programs and audiences. I was also responsible for communicating and implementing new processes, initiatives and music with and to over 100 presenters for over 80 different shows, and making the music available in our digital and physical libraries. I developed new processes to improve the data management of our digital library, and tools to assist the Music Team in managing the high volume of music and correspondence coming into the station weekly, and organised artist interviews and cross-promotions for our presenters.
Sadly, I chose to resign from this role due to the high volume of work required which became too much to manage while working as a Production Supervisor for Flying Bark.
